Die, a dynamic historic city

The capital of the Diois region is nestled at the foot of the Glandasse mountain (2,041 m) at the heart of the Vercors Regional Natural Park, bordered by the river Drôme and set amidst lavender fields and vineyards. City of Die Museum of History and Archaeology. In the surrounding area: Museum of Prehistory, Museum of the Resistance (Vassieux-en-Vercors). Die's historic centre, the Gallo-Roman ramparts, Porte Saint-Marcel, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saint-Nicolas Chapel with its mosaic, the history and archaeology museum, the Cistercian abbey at Valcroissant… The city centre is just a few minutes from the camp site.
